Strange things are happening over at Sanrio.
Today was a day like no other. Shortly after I woke up I was handed several boxes of tea, there was supposed to be a box from every supermarket from the area, but there were a few stores missing. I'm certain they'd also have overlooked blends from speciality tea shops, but the only such store I can think of in Windsor closed some time ago. But upon checking my email, I discovered an exceptionally strange email from my bank:

But that's not nearly as strange as some of the things I found as I strolled through Eton High Street this past weekend. A box of comics for SALE outside what appears to be an antique shop, I think I bought a slightly worn Nineteenth Century book from them about fifteen years ago... But slightly worn comics are not the starngest thing I saw on sale in Eton, there is a shop near the bridge that links Eton to Windsor (where the REAL shops are) there's a shop that has a Skull in the window, the skull is NOT for sale but they do have a rather large collection of old keys, presumably for antique furniture, but unless you have a lock that the key fits, they have no real use!
Just over a month from now I'll be heading to Bristol for the Bristol International Comic Expo & Small Press Expo where I hope to get rid of the few copies of Stir Fried Product that I have left over. Due to the limited capacity of the hotel, the Expo organisers would appreciate it if anyone planning to attend booked their tickets in advance.
Yesterday (7-11-7) the featured article on Wikipedia was Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (often shortened to Borat).
Today however (8-11-7) the featured picture on Wikipedia is Bark Mimicking Grasshopper, Coryphistes ruricola. A completely different pic to the one I linked to several months ago.
But this isn't nearly as weird as my Brothers talent for switching off street lights as he walks past them.
