The Sapporo Snow Festival occurs around this time of year, yu'll find some fantastic snow sculptures, such as this Doraemon snowman.

 I also found a few pics of Hello Kitty Snowmen. Although they aren't as impressive as Sapporo.




I feel slightly upset that there hasn't been enough snow where I live to make a snowball, let alone a proper snowman.
