I began thinking about a few events I could possibly attend this year & how much they would innitially cost.
Comic Expo
Where: British Empire & Commonwealth Exhibition Hall
When: 9th - 11th May
How Much: £75 per table
MCM Expo
Where: ExCel, Royal Victoria Dock, London, E16 1XL
When: May 24 - 25 & October 25 - 26
How much: £160 per table (£20 discount available if booked well in advance)
London Film & Comic-Con
Where: Earls Court, Old Brompton Road, London, SW5 9TA
When: July 19 - 20
How much: £125 per table without wall
International Comics Show
Where: Thinktank, Millennium Point, Birmingham
When: October 4 - 5
How much: £90 per table £30 for backing
Most of them seem a bit pricey for a table for just one person, then I noticed...
Comic-Con International
Where: San Diego, California
When: July 24 - 27
How Much: a small press table would cost $350, which would be something in the region of £175.
Despite the table being yours for four whole days instead of the two days you'd get for events in the UK (although it looks like Bristol runs for three days this year) there's also the added cost of getting to California & finding a suitable hotel that won't cancel your booking without notice.

It's a group I;m interested in who get together and sell comics on Saturdays at Camden market!
I think a few of the guys you're thinking about were on the table directly opposite mine, although the table was registered as Dan Lester's Monkey's Might Puke (http://www.monkeysmightpuke.com/).
