It's now 2008 which will be slightly different to previous years, mainly due to it being a leap year, so anyone born on February 29th will be able to celebrate on the correct day this year!

I can't say things have been overwhelmingly eventful, although I managed to get BT to reconnect me, they sent a new BT Hub & Hubphone, even though I already have a set, but they shut down the hubphone account so I wouldn't be able to use the new hubphone anyway. The 25th was subdued, I got a cup (which also had a tiny whisk & miniature cheese grater) the rest of the day was spent watching people mess around with Wii Sports, eat some Turkey with Cranberry Sauce & wear the paper crown from a cracker for the rest of the day.

A few days ago, while I was in Iceland, I suddenly remembered that during I'm A "Celebrity" Get Me Out of Here Iceland had several banners featuring Australian wildlife. Although the show had ended & all the banners had been removed I was able to get hold of two banners that the store had not used & subsequently discarded. They currently take up space in the corner of the room while I decide what to do with them.

  


It never really seems that windy until you try walking down the road with a large piece of polystyrene card in your hand. I don't know what I'm going to do with a large double sided picture of a Koala & Joey, but it seemed like a good idea at the time!

Over the New Year the song that was continuosly playing in my head was Jackie Chan singing the ending them to Police Story, mainly due to a vid on YouTube featuring Ronald McDonald running about & beating up convenience store clerks.
