I've finally managed to get my hands on a normal suit that resembles the one my aging action man came with all those years ago. The original was made entirely of latex which had a tendency to become brittle and tear apart. 


I have two space rangers now, the one standing next to my original Action Man is wearing the Talking Space Ranger Commander uniform, but the figure itself isn't the Talking Commander.


This chap wrapped in Masking Tape is the Talking Commander, I put him together from spare parts and a torso that I got off eBay but had to create a few things in order to connect the legs and waist to the torso.


The biggest problem has been the fact that I haven't been able to get hold of the screws needed to hold the torso together. I tried B&Q, Maplin and Screwfix, but no joy and the closest modelling shop that could possibly carry screws of the size I need has closed down.
