I received a strange letter through the post this morning, not so much the fat that I'd received an airmail letter from Japan, or that Royal Mail had managed to deliver it successfully with only the house number, street name & postcode... I was slightly puzzled as to why I would be receiving a letter from Shueisha publishing..
It didn't actually take that long for me to realise what the letter was about.
A broadleaf tree that has been planted in Shimokurokama, Misakacho, Fuefuki-city, Yamanashi area of Japan in my name & should be tended for the next 10 - 20 years until the area becomes a sustainable forest. Thais was part of Weekly Shonen Jumps Naruto Forest Campaign, which is why I have a special print (on watercolour paper) drawn by Kishimoto to illustrate "the Future of Naruto's Forest."
But on the previous morning a parcel from Hobby Link Japan arrived.
But it's just Gunpla I ordered for my brother, who now has to paint the tiny 16mm tall Char Aznable figure & pretty much all of the RMS-119 'Eye' Zack which will; probably get messy as he wants to paint them with an airbrush.
How do you paint the intricate detail of a 16mm tall figure with an airbrush (let alone find the right colour paints for Char's Zaku II)?!
