mathewjpallet: There's No Money!!! (Default)

I'm now registered at ComicSpace, which is a site dedicated to comics. Although it's only a week old there's already been over four & a half thousand people that have signed up.

Already I have over 250 'contacts' on my profile, as I've taken the opportunity to attempt to add  EVERYONE in a feable attempt at Viral Marketing. I started from the first person to sign up then made my way down the list & have only recently found someone that I recognise (other than AP Furtado of 01 Comics & Nate Piekos of Blambot)  Willie Hewes, who signed up when the site first launched.

There's still a thousand people to get through before I get to anyone I already know, so if you haven't added me before I get to you, I'll take it that you'd prefer not to be added to my part of the site.

good luck!
woah, good luck with that - let me know if it works and i'll set aside some time ^_~

i've been doing something similar with my prints account on DA coincidentally - im doing a series of 5 prints at a time, and along the theme of each series im joing every club i can find, in order to get as many people to see them as possible (in a feeble attempt to sell a print on DA o_O; ) - its cat clubs @ the mo, then it'll be nature photography, then architecture, or something ^^

its been semi-successful, no prints sold, but i've already topped 100 pageviews since i started the account less than 2 weeks ago...plus i've got quite a bit of feedback on my images, and about a million comments and favs...altho it gets tiring after a while, if i wasn't a no-good layabout ('freelancer' ^_~ ) @ the mo i wouldn't have the time...

Re: good luck!
I got a few comments, mainly people thanking me for adding them, & a couple asking about my sales at Indy Planet.

I haven't really checked to see if I've managed to sell any. but right now ComicSpace is approaching Five Thousand members & I've only been able to network with about 300 of them.

Right now there's a brand new logo custom made for Comic Space by Nate Piekos.

Hello. I came across your journal through Comicspace. I find your journal to be interesting and I would like to friend you, but I wish to ask your permission first as you may find it odd or disturbing to have unsolicited watches.
