It's cold this time of year, which should come as no surprise due toi the fact that it is Winter. What DID come as a surprise however during Saturday evening I noticed that the drive was brighter than it should have been, I took a quick glance outside, noticed it was snowing then went about my business. A few hours later I mentioned that it had been snowing to my Brother who was playing Halo Reach and to my surprise was completely oblivious to the fact that it had been snowing (despite the fact that he had a clear view of the snow covered back garden). He quickly finished his game, went into the garden to throw snowballs at the window before going into the driveway to build a snowman.
( 。◕ ‿ ◕。 )this rather interesting:

I'm currently waiting for a new pair of boots, I last bought a pair back in October 2011 to replace the pair I'd bought early in 2010 that I'd worn the soles out over the course of a good eighteen months. October was only three months ago, yet the boots I'd bought back then have already worn the heel through and the soles have split. I ordered a pair of boots from a seller on Amazon which was dispatched earlier today so I just have to wait until they arrive and see if everything's alright.
I haven't decided what I'm going to do about ext Friday as I've been informed of a "Drop-In" (whatever that is) in Reading from 2:30PM to 5:30PM and another event which starts at around 6:30PM just 43.5 miles down the road in Westminster!
Its been so long since the I last drew these chaps I felt I had to redraw this little sequence to get the story going again. During the interval I seem to have misplaced the Beretta I was using as a prop for the firearm Petty Officer Joe "Musashi" is holding limply in his right hand, fortunately I was able to find an
(and have been watching Netflix this evening). I'm not 100% certain that the problem isn't due to the BT engineer adding an additional wall box using the extension cord that has been in use for five or six years (and has seen better days) however when I looked to see if the phone was still plugged into the box I noticed that it was conspicuously absent from the position the engineer left it. Due to the small problem that the box had been fitted to the wall with double sided adhesive tape it had fallen onto the floor!
I notified BT, but they won't be able to fix the problem before the Nineteenth of January, just think of all the annoying marketing phone calls I'll be missing out on!
I became aware of an unusual problem earlier today as I tried to make a phone call. The problem was the fact that the phone line appears to be disconnected which is highlighted by a "TEL LINE DISCONNECTED!" display on the telephones caller ID, problems with the phone line are not uncommon, but what IS unusual is the fact that I still have Broadband

It's 2012, what exactly did I get up to in 2011
Biomega by Tsutomu Nihei, the story of an artificial human and his sentient motorbike fighting a seemingly unending battle against a horde of biomechanical Zombies along with a sniper rifle toting Grizzly Bear, the storyline deviates wildly around volume 4 but manages to tie everything up before the end of the final volume. Animal Man by Jeff Lemire and Travel Foreman, one of only two stories from the recent DC Comics relaunch I'd recommend when the Paperback is released in May 2012, although the artwork is somewhat distracting when it looks as though it's been inked with a Biro. Rachel Rising by Terry Moore which is so well written, paced and illustrated I recommend that everyone reads it!
Watching: Natsume Yujincho, with the firts three seasons already available on Crunchyroll and the fourth to begin in the New Year (and soon to be released by NIS) it's the story of a boy who can see Yokai who makes friends with the Yokai lord Madara a giant white Lupin creature invisible to regular people until he transforms into a cuddly Cat called Nyanko Sensei. Tiger & Bunny, which was briefly available on Anime on Demand, the show features super powered heroes that fight crime as part of a game show. Fringe, with the entire series premise turned on its head at the conclusion of the last series, the show manages to remain fresh, although it wasn't until the third episode of the current series that I learned that it had returned.
Playing: Bayonetta, I only just got my copy a few months ago and it took only a few hours to get through, but it's easily the most interesting aigame I've played this year. Pokemon White, I've received copies of most of the recent generation of games (mainly because they 're released around my Birthday) but I haven't managed to catch all the available pokemon, mainly due to the evolution stones needed being particularly scarce. The Legend of Zelda: The Skyward Sword
which I'm just about two thirds the way through, just need to get the last two flames to temper the sword, find enough gratitude crystals and all the Goddess Cubes etc.

I had another attempt at creating a legible logo.

A faux tree (they're better than real trees as they'll last longer) has been decorated in a not completely garish manner. While clearing up to make room, a balloon to celebrate the birth of my Sisters Daughter lasts year was discovered and whats more it was still fully inflated!!

At 1:00PM on Tuesday the 20th 0f December 2011 I attended the Funeral of my Grandfather, Leonard Edward Terence Pallett at the Weston Super Mare Crematorium. ( Z.Z )

If I manage to finish both the chapters within (or padded out to) at least sixteen pages each, that will leave six pages (which were finished a month ago) leaving only the inside back cover vacant. It also leaves no room for editorials to highlight important information from previous chapters.
But if a tree falls in the forest and no-one is there to hear it...

And when I saw this Corsair CMX4GX3M1A1333C9 XMS3 Desktop Memory 4GB on Amazon for £15.50 I bought it without a second thought. It arrived through the post today but I haven't installed it, this is mainly due to the fact that this RAM is DDR3 and reading through the manual for my Motherboard that I find that it is only DDR2 so I can't even use it!

Does this sketch resemble a militant, super organised, over energetic individual whose favourite pastime is creating armies from inanimate objects?
Great Illustrator Hunt whatever that could be.
That's just three and a half days, a little short notice for an animated short, but then animation was never my strong point, but sketches are another thing entirely!

Are you under the bed? Are you behind the tree? Are you sat in a caf' with a hot cup of tea?
We’re scouring the country for the freshest, most innovative, peculiar, bizarre, and well, just darned fabulous illustrators and animators in town to help us bring to life a new range of children’s characters.
Excited?
Here comes the good part.
We’d love for you to submit sketches and/or animations that you think fit the brief outlined in the case file below to victoria@inthepicture.info by 12pm on Monday 21st November.
Case file:
Name: Sergeant Nutty
Character Traits: Militant, super organised, over energetic
Favourite Pastime: Creating armies from inanimate objects
The prize you say?
I thought you’d never ask. The winning artist will be contracted to design and create a full character series that will be published as a range of children’s books, toys, platform game and animated series.
So why not show us what you’ve got...

I found myself drawing this pic of Anne XIV last night completely out of memory, did I get everything right?!

I had an idea for a possible cover for Stir Fried Product (despite making no progress with the next issue) which is inspired by the infamous cover to Crime Suspenstories by Johnny T Craig with a few alterations such as Hel making her cover debut (X made it onto SFP #2 second printing). There are a few things still needed to finish up, like a background.

A quick pic of Tintin. I reently locate my copy of Cigars of the Pharoah which is the only Tintin hardcover I possess although due to it's age (mid 70's Methuen reprint) most of the pages have become detached from the spine.
This past weekend I attended the MCM Expo London Comic Con as I have done infrequently since October 2006. A lot has changed since then, the price of tables has dropped, the number of published issues of Stir Fried Product has grown, the event now spans two an a half days and I have a brand spanking new vertical banner.
