ComICA took place yesterday, & I really wanted to go, really I did, but as I have a tendency to leave things 'till the last minute, I forgot all about it. I spent most of the day looking for my 'Electric Shaving Device' so that I could turn the mess that barely passes for a beard down to fresh stubble. And the rest of the day passed reading the insane postings on a thread asking for dating advice, it seems perfectly natural, until I start posting, then things start to loose track & the most recent entry bears little resemblance to the main purpose, but it's bloody funny:

But one guy who did make it to ComICA was Rich Johnston, who has a weekly column at Comic Book Resources:

He was apparently the first person to get their hands on 'THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF BEST NEW MANGA' apparently Frank Skinner was also there to buy his copy. I pre-ordered my copy a while back, & I'm still waiting for it. Rich promises that he'll have photo's up next week, which might make up for all the excitement missed.
