I received the Lance of Thrill CD that I'd ordered a while back, unfortunately, it's not their album 'Poison Whiskey' which features their classic track 'Don't Shit on Me' I also ordered Melt Banana's 'Cactuses Come in Flocks', thinking it was a CD like 'ScRaTcH or StiTcH' that I managed to find in the HMV on Oxford Street back in 1997.
But when it came through the post I soon realised that it was a 12" Vinyl, which is something of a problem as I don't currently have anything that I can play it on at the moment.
Last night, well this morning (I consider anything past midnight to be morning, & the film didn't end 'till 1:45) I was watching The Hunt for Red October, which was quite unusual seeing Sean Connery speaking Russian with a Scottish accent. but what really caught my attention was when the Sonar Operator mentioned the 'Signal to Noise Ratio' which instantly brought back memories of Neil gaiman & Dave McKean's Graphic Album 'Signal to Noise', & the unusual word that Neil had used 'Apocatostases' I think that's how it's spelt, but to check would mean trolling through a whole bunch of Boxes to find it.
