I've just read an e-mail that's been in my mailbox since yesterday.
A little while back, can't quite remember when, I sent a copy of 'Stir Fried Product' to the British Library as I've got far too much dead stock taking up space. Well sometime yesterday they e-mailed me with notification that I now have an ISSN, which is quite surprising as I'd pessimistically presumed that they would reject it. The only problem that I now face is that I have to put out two copies of 'Stir Fried Product' in exactly the same format & page count each year. Then there's the problem that the ISSN needs to be printed in all issues of the serial number in the top right-hand corner of the cover which is slightly problematic as I've had the first run printed since the beginning of Summer.
For those of you interested my ISSN is:
Stir fried product ISSN 1752-8216
This also means shuffling things around on http://stirfriedpla.net as at the moment I've got Full Body Burn on the Stir Fried Product page, when I've only recently decided to put it into another serialisation: Optional Nonsense (because the logo worked so well), I've also got to put the serial number on every promotional & descriptive material concerning the serial. Which in itself brings up a whole bunch of new problems.
